Vertical view of the buck and doe deer statues that stand guard on tall columns at the entrance of the Mandraki harbour against a bright blue sky. In ancient times, Rhodes was home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Colossus of Rhodes. This giant bronze statue once stood astride the entrance of Mandraki harbour and even though no trace of it has ever been found, the deer statues are believed to be where it once stood.
