Later on, herbaceous Per-ennials will take the place of the Annuals. A feature of the grounds at the farther end of thelawn, is a swimming pool which lies between the bordersof the flower garden. It is cemented at the sides and bot-tom, and is so arranged that the water is kept in motionthrough a system of piping, never rising above a certainlevel, and always fresh.
