Wendover, Buckinghamshire, UK. 29th April, 2021. Stop HS2 activists were out in the town of Wendover today with a life size white elephant engaging with locals about the HS2 destruction. The costs of the High Speed 2 HS2 railway from London to Birmingham are spiralling out of control. HS2 are destroying huge areas of ancient woodland around Wendover and in the Chilterns and passers by were tooting their horns in support of the Stop HS2 campaign today.
