A wheellock rifle, Michael Haas, Schwäbisch Gmünd(?), circa 1720. Slightly swamped, (polished) octagonal barrel with seven groove rifled bore in 15 mm calibre. Numbered "" in front of the dovetailed brass front sight. Folding iron rear sight. The wheellock is deeply cut in the Régence style. Flash guard. Double set trigger. The lock plate is inscribed with "A:Z" and bears a mounted royal with his personal hunter in a cartouche.
