Oc- tober 30, by Smith & Fetters, was that of Miss Fannie Hanna, daughter of L C Hanna and a neice of the late Mark Hanna, at 2717 Euclid avenue, one of the mansions of this city. The decorations were chiefly of yellow chrysanthemums and American Beauty roses. The ceremony took place in the reception room. One side was banked with Cibotium Schiedei, and on either side of the arch were huge vases of yellow chrysanthemums. In the center of the archway was the altar, the silk cords marking the aisle being caught with yellow orchids. The bride carried a shower bouquet of white orchids and lily of the valley and the bridesmaids carried armfuls of American Beauty roses. The dining room was liberally supplied with orchids on both table and side boards. The center piece was of My Mary- land, Killarney and Bride roses and bouvardia. The room itself was a great bower of American Beauty roses. The great stairway had large panel baskets of American Beauty roses and yellow chrysanthemums. At the top of the stairs was a large win- dow that was fitted with an arrange- ment of yellow chrysanthemums simu- lating a window box of growing flow- ers. Strikingly unique was Smith & Fetters' Hallowe'en window decoration. The central feature was a huge stand- ing wreath of corn. Savoy cabbages, autumn foliage and Jack-o-lanterns tied with ribbons of bronze and corn color. The base was a bank of pump- kins. In the foreground was a minia- ture ghost. On each side of the ghost were cabbages decorated with violets. Sunrise roses and ribbon and a pump- kin decorated with violets and yellow chrysanthemums.
