A variety of asparagus which is sure to be in great demand in many localities, because it furnishes 7ihite shootswhich stay white as long as fit for use ivithout earthing up or any other artificial blanching. It can be dependedon to give eighty to ninety per cent, white plants from seed. The green shoots can be discarded when settingthe permanent bed. Fine for the market gardener or for canning.
