Chief Selectees from Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit One, located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, participate in the Inaugural Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Pride Day Hawaii Marching and Cadence Competition, at the Battleship Missouri Memorial located on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Wednesday, Sept. 4. Hawaii-based CPO’s designed this event to instill and promote CPO pride, mess cohesion and to encourage cross-island CPO communication through competition. Chiefs and selectees gathered at the historical site to strengthen camaraderie and promote CPO heritage.
