Providential circumstances bring-to the churches of Asheville Presby-tery the unusually fine program atthe Evangelistic Rally scheduled atthe First Presbyterian Church, Ashe-ville, on March 28, under the spon-sorship of the Presbyterys Commit-tee on Evangelism, Rev. M. R. Wil-liamson, chairman. Plans for the program (see spe-cial box in center column) havebeen under way for some time. ThePresbyterys Committee was plan-ning to have Rev. J. R. Williamsand Rev. H. H. Thompson, , onthe program. The First Presbyte-rian Church, Asheville, was planningto have Rev. Andrew W. Black-wood, , in connection with theirweek in the Pre-Easter Servicessponsored jointly with the FirstBaptist, Central Methodist andTrinity Episcopal Churches.
