A subway entrance information display in the Zone A evacuation zone warns of the imminent shutdown of the transit system because of Hurricane Sandy, in New York on Sunday, October 28, 2012. In advance of the arrival of Hurricane Sandy New York will shut down the subways at 7 PM on Sunday and evacuate low lying "Zone A" areas including Battery Park City.
