Lesser adjutant stork (Leptoptilos javanicus). This large wading bird is found throughout southern Asia. It is 110-120 centimetres tall and has a wingspan of 210 centimetres. It inhabits wetlands in tropical lowland and nests in small colonies. This bird feeds on frogs, insects, young birds, lizards and rodents. Photographed in Kanha National Park, India.
