Stoddard, vice-president;George F. Fuller, general manager. In 1915 the company employed more than fivehundred skilled mechanics, and used a floor space of feet. Mr. Gordon did not confine his interests to this company. He was a director ofthe .American Thermos Bottle Company of New York; the Library Bureau of NewYork; the Merchants National Hank of Worcester and Cleveland; of the Lnion Club. He was also trustee of Wor-cester Academy, and an active member of the First Baptist Church, and of the YoungMens Christian Association. He was a thirty-second degree Mason, a member ofMorning Star Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons : \\orcester Chapter, Royal ArchMasons; Hiram Council, Royal and Select Masters; Worcester County Commandery,Knights Templar; Worcester Lodge of Perfection; Goddard Council, Rose Croix;Massachusetts Consistory and Aletheia Grotto. Mr. Gordon was liberal with his wealth and gave generously to charity and toevery project calculated to make Worcester better and happier. He resided for manyyears on Germain street. During the last ten years of his life he had a summer homein Grafton. At the time of his death he had nearly completed a magnific
