Spain, St. James Way: Religious ceremony around the silver head of Saint Gregory in the monastery of Irache
Saint Gregory was the bishop of Ostia and one of the first St. James Pilgrims. He is told to cure the region Estella in Navarra of a plague and so he became the patron of the farmers. Every year on a sunday in may the silver relic with the cranium of St. Gregory is used in a farmer´s mass at the monastery of Irache.
