PACIFIC OCEAN (May 7, 2017) Aviation Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class Alexis Steele checks an oil leak on an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Stingers of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 113 in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. Theodore Roosevelt is currently participating in a Group Sail training unit exercise (GRUSL) to enhance mission-readiness and warfighting capabilities between the ships, air wing and staffs of the TRCSG through simulated real-world scenarios.
