At the end ofthat time in 1893, on account of impairedhearing he retired from the firm and becameinterested in the manufacture of woolengoods, in which line of business he madelarge investments at Norristown and else-where. He was soon made president of theNorristown Woolen company, which posi-tion he still holds in addition to being adirector in the Conshohocken Woolen com-pany. On May 14, 1S60, Mr. Coleman was unitedin marriage with Josephine Aitkin, a daugh-ter of Joseph Aitkin, and a great-grand-daughter of Robert Aitkin, who publishedthe first Bible in the English language in.
