A group of multinational amphibious assault vehicles from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland deploy smoke to cover their landing during a simulated amphibious landing demonstration. Ashland is participating in the 50th annual multi-national UNITAS exercise involving Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.
