Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, centered on a film series created by George Lucas. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away". The Star Wars Stamp Collection, designed by British artist Malcolm Tween, celebrate the British expertise behind the Star Wars films as each episode was made with a largely British cast and crew. The new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens was predominately shot at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire. Luke Skywalker's uncle and aunt raised him on the desolate and remote planet Tatooine. When it was discovered that a droid bought by Luke's uncle contained a message from Princess Leia, Luke embarked on a journey into a new, exciting world.
