I went prepared in case anything should turn up. On the morning of July 8th, after leaving Portland Harbor, wewere becalmed oft Green Island, about ten miles from the of the crew rowed me ashore to see if I could find anythingin the line of specimens. When we left the yacht we could not see anything of any birds,but as we neared the island we could see birds flying up in alldirections, which we found, on closer examination, to be expecting to identify Terns eggs bv flushing the birdwill be most sadly m
