Bronze Gorgon shield device.

Bronze sheet in the shape of a winged Gorgon, from a shield device. Hammered, probably from a wooden former, and cut out it depicts a daemonic Gorgon. The head is girdled with snakes and it wears a helmet with a crest on it's head. From a Magna Grecia workshop 2nd half of 6th c. BC. Olympia Archaeological Museum.
