Leaves narrowly linear, i'-l' long, i"-l" wide, spreading or ascending; pedicels equalling the calyx, or longer in fruit; calyx campanulate, its teeth about one-half the length of the tube, triangular-lanceolate, acute, or acuminate; corolla 6"-io" long, puberulent, rose purple, its limb about as broad, somewhat villous in the throat within, the lobes ciliate; stamens very villous; anther-sacs mucronulate at the base; capsule globose-oblong, 3" high, longer than the calyx.
