Yellowish, chitinous ribs and thickenings on carapace purple, internal oviducts orange, ovisacs yellow (Wilson). White marbled with reddish-grey (). Locality. Table Bay, on Sunfish {Mola mold). 1 immature $, i(J (). Distribution. Coast of Southern California, on Mola mola. Remarks. The £ (carapace 4x4 mm.) corresponds closely with Wilson's description. The $ (carapace 5X5 mm.) clearly belongs to Wilson's species but is in a stage intermediate between the young $ figured on pi. 71, fig. 51, and the adult figured on pi. 70, fig. 37; the genital segment is more ovoid than in fig. 51 but has not reached its full length as shown in fig. 37. The 6th leg is narrower than in fig. 51; there is no trace of a rudimentary 5th leg. (Comparison of pi. xxii, fig. 273, and pi. xxv, fig. 311, in Wilson's 1905 paper.
