A metal stud in the pavement marks the route of the King's Lynn Maritime Trail.

The King's Lynn Maritime Trail was inaugurated on International Hanse Day (29 May) in 2013. There are a series of plaques which lead people on a walk around the areas and sites important in the town's maritime history. The walk starts at the True's Yard Fishing Heritage Museum and ends at the South Quay.
