Leather body with silver-plated mountings, convex metal chinscales with the Russian stamp "N 1, D. Sch", and velvet lining. Yellow ceremonial cover with the silver officer's cap-lines. Surrounding silver lace beneath the cover. Metal cockade. The interior bears an indistinct stamp and a damaged maker's label, "Fokin", under the double-headed eagle. Leather sweatband.
