The Hook-tip Moths, The members of this family are small, slender-bodied moths, which can be easily recognized by the sickle-shaped apex of the front wings (Fig. 345). An approach to this form of wing is pre- sented by some species of the Satur- niidae and by certain Geometrids. But the former are large, stout-bodied moths ; ¥\^S'—P^^^ypieryjc arcu- and the latter differ in wing venation, cubitus of the fore wings appearing only.
