Berliner Gedenktafel, Commemorative plaque remembers King Willem 1 of the Netherlands, Unter den Linden, Berlin The Commemorative plaque, made by Royal Porcelain Factory, was introduced in 1985 to prepare for the city's 750th anniversary in 1987. The porcelain-coloured panel is a 60 by 40 centimetres rectangle with "Berlin Memorial Plaque" in capital letters and a cobalt blue inscription on a white background. The plaque was designed by the winner of a competition, graphic artist Wieland Schütz
