On February 11th 2014, Ailsa Burn-Murdoch was walking to work at the Scottish Parliament when she spotted fermenting pizza dough pouring out of a food recycling skip near Papa John's Leith Walk pizza house. A quick phone snap shared in social media led to the dough monster going viral and hitting the front page of UK newspapers - a story which exploded almost as fast as the discarded dough.
