Chloride town sign 'Chloride est 1860' on silver painted boulder in centre of Chloride, Arizona, 86431, USA.

Chloride is the oldest continuously inhabited town in the USA, as well as the oldest post office still in operation. Whilst its population is a fraction of what it was in mining days gone by it still has around 350 residents, although it's sometimes referred to as a ghost town. It has been used as a filing location on occasions.
