Uranus

Hubble Space Telescope view of Uranus. This image reveals a stormy cloud cap across the north pole of the icy planet. Scientists believe this new feature is a result of Uranus' extreme tilt. The Sun shines almost directly onto the north pole during Uranus' summer and never sets. As the planet approaches the middle of its summer season, the polar-cap region is becoming more prominent. Near the edge of the polar storm can be seens a large, compact methane-ice cloud.
