Gile Track junction, Rim Walk, Kings Canyon, Watarrka National Park, Northern Territory, Australia
Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park is a popular tourist destination south west of Alice sandstone cliffs lining the deep canyon are over 100m high and the Rim Walk follows the cliff tops in a 6km circuit. The walk is best done in the early morning and can be closed due to high temperatures. Giles Track is a longer walk usually done in 2 days by experienced hikers.
