Mini car factory. Newly-built Mini being quality tested at BMW's Plant Oxford site, Cowley, England, UK. This plant runs for 22 hours a day, 7 days a week and a completed car rolls off the production line every 60 seconds. There are only ever 60 members of staff tending and observing the robots on the production floor during each shift. Here, a multi-sensor 5-axis measurement system is being used to detect body work defects and check the production line is finishing cars to the exact specified quality.
