11/06/2022 Gravesend UK A sunny Saturday afternoon in the Kent town of Gravesend. New flower boxes have appeared around the Portland stone plinth of HM Queen Elizabeth II statue in St Andrew’s Gardens in Gravesend. The statue depicts HM Queen in her Order of the Garter robs and was commissioned in 2016 to celebrate HM Queen’s 90th birthday. The statue was created by the sculpture Douglas Jennings.
