Interior image of turbines in the machine room. Trollhättan's power station is also called the Olidan power plant. The 1906 Riksdag made the development decision, and the work started the same year. The station was erected in 3 steps, of which the first 4 were commissioned in 1910. Another 4 units were included in the second development stage made in 1912-1914. The third stage of 5 aggregates was completed in 1918-1921.
