Wood Lane, London, UK. 17th March 2013. BBC TV Centre at Wood Lane is to broadcast the last news bulletin tonight, with all news moved to the new building at Broadcasting House in central London, Television Centre, which was sold for £200m last year, closes on 31 March and will be redeveloped into hotels, flats, a cinema and office space. The main television studios will be retained and refurbished and leased out to production companies, including the BBC, from 2014.
