One figure to my mindis as sacred as the other. Look at the heads, the faces ! Theundraped womans head is, in my opinion, even more chaste, ifpossible, than the carefully dressed figure, which has the handsgloved. The likeness is so remarkable, that I believe Titianmeant both to be the same woman, showing how noble and chasteshe could look under any aspect.
