THE MEDICATED BATH Various additions may be m^ade to the water to increase itseftect or to decrease it, that is, either to increase or decrease theeffect of temperature upon the skin. The saline bath is pre-pared by adding from one to five per cent, of sea salt, vichy saltor epsom salt to the water. The mustard bath is made by addingfrom ane hundred to five hundred drams of finely ground mustardmeal to the bath. The mustard meal is stirred with a little waterto a
