A pair of splendid flintlock pistols, for the Oriental Market. Vergnes à Marseilles, circa 1810. Stepped barrels with cannon muzzles, smooth bores in 16 mm calibre. Inset brass tompions. The tops are richly ornamented in part with engraved and gilded trophy bundles and crescent moons on a browned background.
