The Black Diamond, Den Sorte Diamant, at the waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark. The building is housing the Royal Library and is a culture centre
The Black Diamond from 1999 at the waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark. The building is housing the Royal Library and is a culture centre. Designed by the architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen. The shifting light during the day and night and shifting activity in the harbour create exciting effects and reflections in the black and glassy building. The copper tower of the parliament building in Copenhagen, Christiansborg Palace, in the background.
