In the foreground we see American Flags extending from the facade of the Manhattan Hotel, within a 5-10 minutes walk of Central Park, Rockefeller Centre and 5th Avenue boutique shops. In the background we see the TV Radio Antenna on top of the Conde Nast Building. This 247m high, 48 storeys skyscraper, the 12 tallest building in New York, opened in 2000. After the twin towers of the World Trade Centre came down in 2001, new locations were sought for the city's radio and TV transmitters, so an old 132 ft high antenna was replaced with a new 385ft antenna on the Conde Nast Building.
