The flesh is remarkably thick, firm and solid, and of very fine ciuality with very few seeds. It is an excel- lent shipper. Does not crack or rot, as is the case with many of the old sorts. It is known to be the most profitable tomato for the market gardener and trucker, and is unsurpassed for canning purposes.
