Hindu temple dedicated to Nandi with a massive, popular sculpture of a bull carved from stone. About 16 feet in height and 24 feet long, this Nandi atop the Chamundi Hills is the third largest in India. This giant, monumental statue of Nandi (Bull) is located at the top of Chamundi hills in Mysore, Karnataka, India. The statue, reckoned to be at least 350 years old, was sculpted by the illustrious Mysore Maharaja, Dodda Devaraja Wodeyar during the period from 1659 to 1673 and is the only one of its kind in the State.
