Sgt. Daniel Mabe maneuvers a mechanical arm towards a roadside object outside his vehicle known as The Buffalo near Camp Taji, Iraq, on Aug. 2, 2005. The Buffalo is a heavily armored vehicle with a mechanical arm that can be used to safely examine items suspected of being improvised explosive devices. Mabe is attached to the Army's 70th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division.
