A group of S-3 Vikings from Carrier-Based Antisubmarine Squadron Twenty-Two (VS-22), "Checkmates", fly in formation over USS Stethem (DDG 63) during a training exercise. The Checkmates are part of Carrier Airwing Three currently embarked on board USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) for a six-month deployment. TRUMAN is on station in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH.
