Interacting spiral galaxy UGC 8335. Hubble Space Telescope (HST) image of two interacting spiral galaxies, collectively known as UGC 8335. The galaxies are linked by a bridge of material and both have dust lanes in their centres. UGC 8335 is located some 400 million light years from Earth, in the constellation of Ursa Major. Image obtained on 10th May 2001.
