Kilve Beach just before sunset.

Kilve beach, on the north Somerset coast of the Bristol Channel, just before sunset. The sunlight is reflected off of the waves and cliffs in the background during an incoming tide. The Bristol Channel and Severn Estuary have one of the highest tidal ranges in the world, with the Severn Bore flowing upstream faster than a horse can gallop. Kilve beach is a nationally recognised area for palaeontology, with its lias layers.
