A splendid hunting hanger of the Reich National Hunting Association. Maker Eickhorn, Solingen. Plated wedge blade with etched deer hunt and boar chase scenes against a burnished background. Manufacturer`s trademark stamped on ricasso. Blade exhibits minor discoloration. Silvered cross-guard and pommel with oak leaf design in relief and a grouse on the clamshell. Stag horn grip with applied DJ emblem. Green leather-covered composition scabbard with silvered fittings and an engraved belling stag on the chape. Brown leather frog. Length 45 cm.
