SAN DIEGO (March 14, 2023) Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) evacuate to the pier during a simulated fire in the ship’s hangar bay. The drill, required by the Industrial Ship Safety Manual for Fire Prevention (8010), was created to train integrated teams of Sailors to casualties in industrial environments.
