There is to be adistrict court with three district judges, one ofthe judges residing at Juneau, another at , and another at Circle City, the firstone holding court alternately at Juneau andSkagway. In view of the terri-torial extent of Alaska and the wide dispersionof the people, it is obvious that tliese commis-sioners will liave a great deal of importance inthe maintenance of law and the protection ofrights. There will be an attorney-general forAlaska, and three district-attorneys, one for eachof the judicial divisions, with subordinates thatwe need not here specify. There is also due pro-vision for marshals and deputy-marshals for theefficient execution of the law and of the ordersof the judges and commissioners.
