Very old enameled plate screwed on a door inside a building in Paris indicating in French: "Ne fermez pas la porte, le blount s'en chargera", meaning "Do not close the door, the blount will do it". In french, the word "blount" was referring to a spring (door closer) allowing to automatically close a door which was a new feature a century ago.
