Spain, La Rioja: Romanesque wall painting in the Monastery of Suso in San Millan de la Cogolla
The Monasteries Yuso and Suso are two Unesco World Heritage Sites. Suso means "arriba" = up, Yuso means "abajo" = down. The older one, Suso, was founded in the 6th century by eremite and monk San Millan. This medieval wall painting shows some wonders of him and is to see inside of the mozarabic hall of Monastery of Suso.
