The new friendship be-tween Byzance and Rashka was further confirmedby the betrothal of Nemanyas second son Stephanto Eudokia, niece of the Emperor Isaac Angelos. The Emperor Isaac made peace also with Dobro-mir Streza, who in return for recognition of Byzan-tine suzerainty was allowed to rule between the Var-dar and the Struma.
