A sign advertises James Hardie's Fibrolite sheets in Australia. Fibrolite was a proprietry name given to building sheets made from asbestos cement which was later found to cause Mesothelioma. Thousands of Australian houses, schools and other institutions were built from fibro. Mesothelioma is a rare type of lung cancer that can develop decades after exposure to asbestos fibres.
